About Lineage Gardening Services

For two weeks in February the orchards west of town turn white almost overnight, and the air over Bakersfield carries a faint sweetness that everybody notices and nobody quite mentions. Lineage Gardening Services works the yards under that same sky, on a rhythm the valley sets: regular mowing, string trimming around posts and meter boxes, shrubs kept in bounds, sprinkler heads looked at before the long dry stretch begins. A lawn here is a running conversation with water and heat, and the answer in March is not the answer in August. Weeds get pulled and treated before they seed themselves into next year's trouble. What's left is small and steady and worth something — a green yard holding its own on a street where summer does not negotiate.
