About Laura's Landscaping Service

Along the Kern River Parkway the cottonwoods go silver when the wind turns, and the path fills with walkers long before the valley heat arrives. Laura's Landscaping Service keeps Bakersfield yards on that same early schedule — mowing while the grass still holds the night's cool, running a clean edge along the walk, blowing the clippings back off the concrete instead of leaving them for the wind. Fescue and Bermuda want different things in this soil, and a lawn that gets the right cut and the right week of feeding will carry through a triple-digit July without going thin. Hedges are brought back to shape, borders are trimmed, and the green waste leaves with the truck. By the time the sun clears the bluffs, another block on the route looks looked-after.
