Hugo's Landscape & Maintenance Service

About Hugo's Landscape & Maintenance Service

August down toward Lamont and Weedpatch, the vineyards are heavy and the whole southern end of the valley smells faintly of ripe fruit and warm dirt. In that heat a home lawn is a stubborn thing to keep, which is exactly the work Hugo's Landscape & Maintenance Service takes on around Bakersfield. Cuts kept a little taller through the worst weeks so the roots stay shaded, edges held sharp, trimming close where the mower deck stops short. Clippings go, walks get blown, and the yard reads as cared for even in the middle of a brutal month. Come the cooler weeks the same lawn greens up fast, because it was never let go.
