Enrique’s Tree Service

About Enrique’s Tree Service

Half the backyards in Azusa still hold a citrus tree from when the groves ran up to the foothills, and beside them stand the pepper trees and shade trees that came later. Enrique's Tree Service tends that mix block by block — pruning fruit trees back within reach, thinning canopies that have closed in on themselves, trimming limbs off garage roofs and fences, removing the trees that have finally run out of time. Work starts in the cool part of the morning while the foothill shadow still lies across the street. When a storm drops something heavy, out come the saw, the chipper and the rake, and the yard goes back to being a yard. A neighborhood keeps its character in its trees, and somebody has to keep the trees in shape.
