Albert's Tree Service - Azusa works the streets below the canyon mouth: sycamores and cottonwoods pruned back from roofs, palms and shade trees trimmed off the lines, tired and leaning trees removed before a canyon gust decides the matter. The wind funnels down out of the wash and finds whatever has not been touched in a while, so after a night like that the limbs get cut, the brush goes through the chipper, and the driveway gets swept. Every pruning cut is made with the next hot, dry, blowing afternoon already in mind. Mountains at the top of the street and shade the length of it — both are worth keeping.
