Auburn Lake Trails is named for its trails, and on a June evening you can watch the whole community soften — sprinklers ticking on, quail crossing the lanes, the last light catching the tops of the ponderosas. Landscaping and More tends the yards inside that picture: mowing, trimming, cleanup, the steady upkeep that lets a foothill lawn hold its green while the surrounding hills cure to straw. The work is plain and the results are not — a clipped edge where lawn meets road, a bed cleared of weeds, a property that looks ready for company. Deer will still wander through, because this is the Divide and they always do, but they will wander through a yard that has been looked after.
