About Atherton Tree Services

Atherton is a town built beneath its trees — heritage coast live oaks arching over the lanes, redwoods and cedars standing in deep, cool shade around Holbrook-Palmer Park. Atherton Tree Services works up in those canopies, where the real character of the town lives. Pruning an old oak on a property like these is careful, respectful labor: preserving the sweep of the limbs, clearing the deadwood, keeping the crown healthy so the shade it throws stays generous for another generation. Trimming, pruning, and full tree care are the trade; the shaded quiet of the Peninsula's most tree-covered streets is the workplace. When the job is done and the ladders come down, the tree should look simply, completely itself — only better prepared for the years ahead.
