About Coast Landscape

Some mornings the fog comes over the Cuesta Grade and spills north into the Salinas Valley, and Atascadero wakes under a soft ceiling with the oaks dripping. Coast Landscape starts in that grayness, where grass is damp and the mower has to be walked a little slower to leave a clean cut. Mowing, edging and trimming make up most of the round, with the cuttings cleared so nothing clumps. By the time the ceiling lifts, a street's worth of lawns have gone from shaggy to squared away. The fog gets the credit for the morning; the edges are their own.
