Colores Tree Service

About Colores Tree Service

At dusk the fog comes over the Aromas hills from the bay side and settles into the oak draws like it pays rent there. Colores Tree Service works those ridges where three counties meet — pruning the coast live oaks that shade the older houses, trimming branches back from roofs and long gravel drives, removing eucalyptus and pines that have grown taller than their footing. Wind is the constant up here and the trees wear the proof of it, so the trimming is shaped to give the wind somewhere to go. When a winter storm lays a limb across a driveway, it gets cut, the brush gets chipped, and the road is open again. A hillside place that stays shaded and clear overhead is what the day is for.
