About Hewson Landscaping

The older houses along Janes Creek sit under fir and camellia, and their lawns are mostly shade, moss and patience. Hewson Landscaping takes them on the regular round: mow, edge, trim the fence line, load the clippings, sweep the walk before the truck door shuts. Ground on this coast stays soft nearly all year, so the skill is cutting cleanly without leaving a track behind you. Come back often enough and a yard settles into a shape it will keep on its own. Arcata proper, and north toward McKinleyville.
