About Jay Welty Landscaping

Afternoon is Aptos at its best — the marine layer gone, warm light settling over Aptos Village, the ocean glittering past the trees — and a well-kept yard is how a house joins the afternoon. Jay Welty Landscaping does the joining: lawns mowed and edged, hedges shaped, beds planted and mulched, the whole property brought to a calm green order. The coastal climate never really stops growing things, so neither does the schedule. Between the forested canyons and the sea, every lot is its own microclimate, and each one gets read before it gets cut. The results speak in clean lines.
