Garden Guardian

About Garden Guardian

In Aptos the fog does half the watering, drifting in from the sea at night and burning off by mid-morning, and Garden Guardian handles the rest. From the deep shade at the edge of the Forest of Nisene Marks down to the sunnier flats, the work is mowing, weeding, pruning, and standing watch over gardens that grow all twelve months here. Needles and leaf litter fall where the big trees lean over fences; the crew keeps them from claiming the lawn. A guarded garden in this climate is a lush one. That's the bargain, and it's a good one.
