About Better Tree Care Inc

Around four in the afternoon the Delta wind finds Antioch, comes up off the San Joaquin and moves through every backyard in town. Better Tree Care Inc works with that breeze at its back — trimming crowns so the wind moves through them instead of shoving them, pruning limbs away from the roofs on the river-side blocks, removing trees that have started to lean toward a fence and mean it. Along the levee roads the cottonwoods and willows drop heavy wood after a hard blow, and clearing that quickly fills a good part of the calendar. A trimmed tree here should look like it was always that shape, only lighter and better balanced. The river makes weather a daily fact in this town, and a canopy the afternoon wind can pass through is the answer to it.
