Go Big Gardening

About Go Big Gardening

Angels Camp is the town that made a jumping frog famous, and its Main Street still wears its Gold Rush bones proudly. Go Big Gardening works the yards and garden beds tucked behind those old storefronts and along the hillside streets, where the foothills turn the color of straw by midsummer and anything green is green on purpose. The work runs from mowing and bed care to planting and seasonal cleanup — coaxing gardens through the hot months and setting them up to take advantage of the mild ones. There is a particular pleasure in a foothill garden that holds its own against the dry gold hills around it. Go big or the garden goes quiet; the name is the whole philosophy.
