About Tim's Mobile Repair

Some winter mornings Anderson wakes under tule fog so low that the traffic out on the interstate sounds closer than it is, and nothing wants to start easily. Tim's Mobile Repair comes to the property instead of the other way around — up the drive, working the lawn where it stands, cutting it down and putting the edges back where they belong. There is a particular note a machine makes when it is running right and the grass is parting clean, and chasing that note is most of the job. By the time the fog peels off the valley floor around noon, the yard is squared away and the truck is already on the next street.
