Standifer Construction and Hauling

About Standifer Construction and Hauling

Late summer evening in Anderson comes in long and orange, the heat letting go an hour after the last mower shuts off. Standifer Construction and Hauling spends those hours the way the work asks — grass cut down, edges run clean, clippings and yard debris loaded out so nothing sits and browns on the turf. South of town, where the land flattens toward Cottonwood Creek and the pasture fences run straight, a property that gets kept keeps its shape year to year. The pleasure is in the empty lawn at the end of it: nothing left behind, the tailgate up, the ground even from one fence to the other.
