About Turfriends

September is a good stretch for yard work — the trees along the streets just starting to turn, the blocks busy again with school back in session. Turfriends spends those weeks around Anaheim doing the things that make a yard read as cared for: mowing at a height the grass can carry into fall, edging beds and sidewalks, trimming close along fences, and clearing the first drifts of leaves before they mat down. A lawn cut on Friday holds through the weekend, which counts for something on a block where people actually sit outside. The work is unglamorous and it shows from the curb, which is precisely the point.
