Felix's Gardner Landscaping

About Felix's Gardner Landscaping

Old pepper trees still lean over some of the streets near Modjeska Park, throwing that fine broken shade that never quite makes a lawn happy. Felix's Gardner Landscaping works with it rather than against it — mowing, edging, trimming shrubs back off the walks, thinning weeds out of the beds and raking the litter those trees shed all year. Midweek the neighborhood empties out and the only sounds are a mower and a mockingbird arguing with it. The gardening habit here runs deeper than a cut lawn; it is beds, borders, hedges and the small corrections that keep a yard from drifting. A place tended once a week never has to be rescued.
