LandCare

About LandCare

American Canyon ends in marsh — follow any westside street far enough and the pavement gives way to pickleweed, levee trail, and the wide tidal quiet past Wetlands Edge Park. LandCare tends the green on the town side of that line. Lawns get mowed and fed on a rhythm the seasons set, edges are kept honest along fences and walks, and the winter's storm litter is raked and hauled before it can smother the grass. There is something clarifying about working where neighborhood meets open water: the shorebirds keep their side tidy, and the yards should match. House by house, from the levees up toward Broadway, that is the standard.
