About Gold Country Tree Inc

Alta grew up beside the first transcontinental railroad, and freight trains still wind through on the old Central Pacific grade, climbing toward the Sierra crest. Around the tracks and the homes, the forest stands thick with black oak, sugar pine and cedar. In October the black oaks turn a soft yellow-gold, lighting up the slopes between the darker evergreens. Gold Country Tree Inc trims and prunes trees across Alta, giving each crown room and light so it can hold its own in a crowded canopy. Seen from the road after the work is done, a shaped oak among the pines looks as if it was meant to stand exactly there.
