Handysweeper

About Handysweeper

Spring wind gets up around Vail and spends all of April moving the desert from one place to another — grit on the porch, cholla joints in the driveway, a fine tan film over everything that held still. Handysweeper takes that personally. Mowing and edging, certainly, but also the sweeping-up that follows: drives, walks and patios cleared, clippings and blown litter collected instead of left to scatter again by evening. A property only looks finished when the concrete is as clean as the grass is even, and that last ten minutes is where the whole day gets its shine. Vail, Rita Ranch, Corona de Tucson and the roads running out toward Mescal.
