Valencia Turf & Hardscape

About Valencia Turf & Hardscape

Work starts on the south side while the sky over the Santa Ritas is still the color of peach skin, before the heat has formed any opinion about the day. Valencia Turf & Hardscape mows, edges and trims yards along the Valencia Road corridor and out toward the white towers of San Xavier del Bac, where the desert runs flat and the light arrives all at once. A lawn cut early holds its color longer here, the edge along a walk stays crisp against the caliche dust, and the clippings leave with the crew instead of drifting off into the gravel. There is a real satisfaction in a tended yard in a place that hands nothing over easily. By the time the afternoon glare stands straight up over Tucson, the mowers are quiet and the whole block looks cared for.
