Man of the Soil

About Man of the Soil

Dig anywhere in Oro Valley and sooner or later you hit caliche — pale, stubborn, hard as a sidewalk — and anything green standing above it is there because somebody worked for it. Man of the Soil takes lawn care on those terms: mowing, edging, trimming and cleanups, week in and week out. Summer mornings begin close to first light, while the air is still bearable and the grass still holds dew it will lose by nine. The cut goes down in straight passes, the perimeter gets walked, and the clippings ride out with the trailer. Honest ground, plain work, and a lawn that ends up looking the way its owner pictured it.
