About Kelly and Sons LLC

Pusch Ridge holds the last of the evening light long after Oro Valley has gone blue, and in spring the slope under it comes up in poppies and brittlebush. Kelly and Sons LLC works the yards on Tucson's north end and out toward Catalina State Park — mowing, edging, trimming, hedge shaping, seasonal cleanups, and the weed control that April wind makes necessary. Up there a yard runs right against open desert, so keeping one means keeping a boundary: grass on this side, saguaro country on the other. A crew moving together gets the whole street done before the wind stands up in the afternoon. That line between the two never looks better than the day it is cut.
