About Horticulture Unlimited, Inc.

Lantana, ocotillo, a row of Texas ranger that turns purple three days after rain — a Tucson yard is a stack of small decisions, and the good ones keep paying out. Horticulture Unlimited, Inc. tends properties along the Rillito and through the streets south of it: mowing, trimming, shrub and hedge pruning, planting, and the seasonal cleanups that keep beds from vanishing under their own growth. Desert plants reward restraint. Shear a shrub into a ball and it sulks; thin it by hand and it opens up and breathes. Along the wash the morning light comes thin and low, the ground gives up its creosote smell after any rain at all, and a day that ends with the beds combed clean feels like time well spent.
