Heroes Turf Cleaning

About Heroes Turf Cleaning

In March the ocotillo along Craycroft raises its red flags and the Foothills turn briefly, wildly colorful. Heroes Turf Cleaning is in the yards that same month, bringing lawns out of their winter slump — mowing them down to one even height, clearing the thatch and debris collected since fall, and cutting a firm border where turf meets stone. Grass in the desert is a deliberate choice, a green rectangle somebody wanted, and it deserves to be kept sharp. Clippings and leaf litter leave with the crew. What remains is a lawn that looks like a lawn again, right when the weather has everyone wanting to be out on it.
