Tucson Desert Scapes

About Tucson Desert Scapes

By mid-July the air above the arroyos east of Tucson shimmers before ten in the morning, and the yards that come through it are the ones designed for it. Tucson Desert Scapes leans all the way into that, favoring gravel and rock over thirsty turf, defining beds with boulders and clean borders, pruning desert plants to shape, and pulling weeds before the summer rains give them ideas. Where a lawn exists, it is cut, trimmed and edged on a set schedule. After a storm scatters grit and broken limbs across a property, the cleanup puts it back to square. A desert yard done this way asks for less and gives back more, month after month.
