About Marty's Landscape & Design Llc

November light in Tanque Verde is long and forgiving, and it flatters good bones: a dry creek bed set with river rock, boulders placed as though they were always there, a curve of beds that pulls the eye toward the Rincons. Marty's Landscape & Design Llc works at that level, laying out yards, shaping planting beds, setting stone and gravel, then keeping the whole thing cut, edged, trimmed and weeded so the design holds its shape. Landscape design in this country is mostly restraint, a few strong forms and a great deal of open ground. Maintenance is what keeps restraint from sliding into neglect. Both halves of that belong to the same job.
