Green Thumb

About Green Thumb

April in Tanque Verde is brief and generous: ocotillo tips light up red, palo verde runs gold along the wash, and every bed in the neighborhood wants attention at the same moment. Green Thumb spends that window on the close, careful work, pruning shrubs to shape, pulling weeds by hand, refreshing borders, and keeping the grass cut and edged while the mornings are still cool. The results are the kind you notice from your own front step, with nothing overgrown, nothing sprawling into the path, everything given room to breathe. Through the hot stretch the visits keep a yard steady rather than rescued. It is patient work, meant for people who would rather look out the window and smile.
