West Valley Lawn & Landscape

About West Valley Lawn & Landscape

The White Tank Mountains hold the last of the evening light west of Surprise, and in summer the working day out here is finished before most of the city has had breakfast. West Valley Lawn & Landscape mows in that early cool — bermuda cut short and often through the heat, crisp edges laid in at every sidewalk and drive, block walls trimmed around, walks blown down to bare concrete. October brings the changeover: scalp the bermuda, overseed with rye, and carry a green lawn straight through winter while much of the country is brown. Feeding and weed control run all year on a schedule, because in the West Valley nothing pauses for long. A dark green yard with a ruled edge, in a desert that never agreed to it — that is the whole job.
