About Green Mountian Desgin

The pecan orchards run for miles along the Santa Cruz here, bare-limbed and orderly in January, and that is the season the valley's lawns look their finest. Green Mountian Desgin mows through the cool months when overseeded rye stands greener than anything else in the desert — a weekly cut, edges laid in at every walk, clippings collected and carried away. Warm weather flips the job to bermuda: shorter, faster, fed and watched through the burn of June. Trimming closes the corners a mower cannot reach, and weed control keeps the rock and the turf line properly separate. Green grass in this country is a made thing, and it deserves to be kept honest.
