Evergreen Turf

About Evergreen Turf

Stanfield is farm country through and through, a town strung along State Route 84 in western Pinal County where fields run flat to the horizon and canals carry water to every row. Evergreen Turf fits right in, a business built around the color green and lawn care that keeps it there. At noon in July the heat shimmers off the cotton and alfalfa, and any turf that stays lush through it has been handled with intention. In a place that knows how much work goes into growing anything, a lawn mown smooth and kept thriving, its edges tucked in, is its own kind of harvest. Driving home past the fields at sundown, it is good to turn in at a yard that looks this alive.
