About Barnard Landscaping & Construction

January puts snow on Carr Peak and frost on the valley floor, and the Bermuda lies down tan and dormant until spring talks it back up. Barnard Landscaping & Construction works straight through the cold anyway — a low final cut, dormant turf cleared of debris, edges held so the shape of the lawn survives the winter. Then May arrives, the grass wakes all at once, and the yards that were tended in February come back even. Sierra Vista's seasons are quieter than this desert lets on, but they are real, and a lawn keeps the record of them. The satisfaction is in showing up for the unglamorous half of the year.
