About AZ Local Turf & Landscape

The Indian Bend Wash runs a green seam down the middle of Scottsdale, a floodplain turned into miles of park and mown grass. AZ Local Turf & Landscape works the yards on either side of it, cutting and edging while the morning is still cool enough to hear the sprinklers ticking. In April the palo verdes shed yellow over everything, and clearing it back off a lawn is half the pleasure of that month. Fertilizing, weed control, trimming and the long sweep of a spring cleanup make up the rest — ordinary work that keeps a desert yard looking looked-after. By the time the heat comes up off the pavement, the lines are cut and the walkway is blown clean.
