Zat' s Mowing and More

About Zat' s Mowing and More

At noon in high summer a dust devil will lift off a bare field out toward Central and walk across the valley in plain sight, and everybody just watches it go. That is the country these lawns are kept in — hard light, dry wind, ground that gives nothing away. Zat's Mowing and More cuts through it anyway: even mowing, edges run tight to the concrete, trimming worked into every corner, walks blown clean at the end. When the mower shuts off and the yard sits there striped and squared while the heat shimmers off the road, the contrast is the whole point. A green lawn in the middle of the Gila Valley is somebody's steady work showing.
