About Affordable Landscaping, #1

October softens Safford. The shade trees along Main Street begin letting go a little at a time, evenings turn cool enough to leave a window open, and yards that spent July simply surviving are ready to be tended again. That is the season this lawn care work was made for — cutting back to a clean height, running the edges crisp along concrete, and clearing the litter out of corners where the wind stacks it. A lawn in the Gila Valley never gets handed anything, which is exactly why a straight mow line across a front yard is worth looking at. Week by week the yard comes back, and the house behind it looks cared for from the street.
