Clinton's Yard Work

About Clinton's Yard Work

On a December morning the sand in Big Wash is cold enough to hold a boot print, and the frost burns off the SaddleBrooke lawns about the time the second cup of coffee goes down. Clinton's Yard Work starts once the grass has thawed — cutting, edging the drive lines, trimming the corners a mower can't reach, hauling the trimmings out. Winter work here is patient work; growth is slow, so the difference shows in the details, in whether the borders are honest and the gravel stays free of stray blades. By noon the low sun throws every line into relief, which is a fair test of a yard done right. Serving SaddleBrooke and the neighboring stretches of Catalina, Oro Valley and Oracle.
