About Turf Addicts

Grass is a decision in this country. Everything around Prescott Valley — the chaparral, the piñon and juniper, the granite bones of the hills — gets along fine without it, so a lawn out here is something somebody chose and somebody keeps. Turf Addicts treats it that way: mowing at a height the summer sun can't scorch, edging every border back to a hard line, trimming what the deck can't reach, and clearing the clippings so the turf can breathe. Mid-morning, with the light crossing the yard at a slant, a fresh cut shows its rows like nap on velvet, and the green looks twice as green against all that tan. Prescott Valley first, then Prescott, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humboldt.
