CFI Dropyard

About CFI Dropyard

There is a half hour before sunrise when the Patagonia ridgeline is still only a silhouette and Nogales is cool enough for sleeves, even in June. CFI Dropyard starts mowing then, dew still on the blades, the sound of the machine carrying farther than it will all day. Warm months mean a steady cycle of cutting, edging and trimming; the milder ones mean cleanups, hauling out mesquite litter and seed pods before they mat down over the grass. Weeds come out of gravel margins and bed lines early, while they are still small enough to pull by hand. By the time traffic is building toward the interstate, the ground is cut and the walks are swept.
