Little John's Lawns

About Little John's Lawns

Up in Lehi, the north end of Mesa still remembers being farm country. The Salt River bottom runs cottonwood-green below the bluff, horses stand in the cool of the morning, and the light comes over Red Mountain flat and pink before it turns white. Little John's Lawns takes the early half of the day up there — mowing, edging, trimming along fence lines and irrigation berms, hauling off what the wind and the trees leave behind. Small yards, big yards, the same standard either way: cut even, edges clean, nothing left on the drive. It is honest weekly work in a corner of town where the ground has been tended a very long time.
