About Blossom Bros

April sets the palo verdes off all at once along Combs Road, and for two weeks the curbs of San Tan Valley lie dusted gold. Blossom Bros keep the lawns underneath them level and their edges honest, mowing, trimming, and sweeping blossom and clippings off the walkways after the wind has had its fun. Spring is short in this valley and the growing is quick, which makes a steady weekly rhythm worth more than any single big cleanup. There is pleasure in leaving a neat green patch that looks deliberate against so much desert. Then the truck rolls to the next street and does it again.
