Wingfield

About Wingfield

At forty-four hundred feet the winter nights around Mayer get properly cold, and the stars come out in numbers a city never sees. Days stay bright, though, and there is yard work that suits the cold months: grass held short, borders trimmed, the last leaves pulled from the fence corners. Wingfield tends the lawns through that quiet stretch, when everything is waiting and the mowing is light. A yard held in shape all winter greens up early and easy. Come the first warm week, it is already ready.
