About Niche Organic Gardens

Start at the ground. Beneath a Litchfield Park lawn is desert soil that wants feeding, and everything above it — the color, the thickness, how it takes a June afternoon — follows from what happens down there. Niche Organic Gardens tends lawns and garden beds with that in mind: mowing at a height that shades the roots, edging, trimming, returning clippings where they help and clearing them where they don't. Cleanups and weed control fill the cooler months, when the beds get their attention and the turf rests. Slow, patient work looks like luck later, when a yard comes into summer thick and the one next door has gone thin.
