Advanced Ground Control

About Advanced Ground Control

Late in the day, out where Loop 303 runs past the last of the farm ground, Goodyear still shows its cotton-field bones — flat light, long rows, a horizon you can see the weather coming across. Advanced Ground Control keeps yards on that western edge of town in order: mowing, edging, trimming, and the steady weed control that decides who owns the ground, the turf or the desert. Fertilizing goes down on a schedule so the grass thickens before the heat arrives instead of after. Cleanups pull out the drift of palo verde litter and windblown debris that gathers along walls and gravel beds. The result is plain and satisfying — a yard that looks deliberate from the street, right up to the last cut of the evening.
