About Hale Country Tree Service, LLC

Rainbow Lake sits right in the middle of Lakeside with ponderosas standing around the shore, and the air off that water in June is the reason half the state drives up here. Hale Country Tree Service works those pines and the yards strung along Show Low Creek — thinning crowns, pruning limbs up off cabin roofs, and taking out trees that have grown into trouble. Beetles and dry years mark the ones that have to come down, and a careful removal leaves the neighbors' trees untouched. Winter snow and monsoon lightning both put wood on the ground, and clearing it away is ordinary White Mountains business. Nothing in this country looks better than a stand of pines given room and a cabin with a clear path around it.
