About Westside Yard Company

On the west-facing streets the wind comes up off the lake in the afternoon and every yard takes the full weight of the sun on its way down. Westside Yard Company works those lots: mowing, edging along the drive, string trimming the slopes and retaining walls where a mower has no business going, weeds pulled from the rock, hedges cut back off the windows. Turf on a west exposure keeps you honest, since it wants a steady cut and clean borders or it looks ragged from the street. The concrete gets cleared and the clippings loaded before the truck leaves. Down past the rooftops the water goes silver, and the yard is already squared away.
