About Howie's Tree Care, LLC

Every hour on the hour the fountain goes up over the lake at Fountain Hills, and the whole town gets a white plume standing against the McDowell Mountains. Howie's Tree Care, LLC works the desert neighborhoods stepped up the hillsides around it, thinning palo verde and mesquite so the wind can slip through, pruning back whatever has grown over a walkway, and removing the trees that have outlasted their place. March turns the slopes yellow with bloom and April brings the first real heat, and a well-shaped tree earns its keep from then until October. Monsoon evenings tip trees over in this rocky soil without much warning, and the day after is spent cutting and carrying. From the ridge you can see Four Peaks past the last houses, and below it a yard just put back in order.
