The road north out of Fort Mohave keeps the river on one side and the Black Mountains on the other, and ilandscape Bullhead runs it most mornings with the trailer swaying behind. Lawns get mowed, edges get cut along the concrete, trimmers finish what the deck cannot reach, and the clippings leave with the crew. Between the mesa and the water the ground is mostly rock and creosote, which is exactly why a kept lawn reads so well here.
