About A3 landscape

By March the roadsides south of Florence go loud: globe mallow in orange, brittlebush in yellow, the old Pinal Pioneer Parkway running its ribbon of color toward the Tucson side. Desert spring is short and generous, and a lawn cut inside it holds its shape for weeks. The work happens in the long soft light of a Florence morning, when shadows still stretch across the gravel and nothing is in a hurry. The town looks its best in March, and a yard ought to be part of that.
