Southwest Greens Flagstaff

About Southwest Greens Flagstaff

At seven thousand feet the growing season is short and generous, and every green yard in Flagstaff is a thing someone chose to keep. Southwest Greens Flagstaff keeps them: the mowing and the edging, the string-trimmed fence lines, the feeding schedule, the spring wake-up and the autumn clear-out. Ponderosa needles drift down all summer and settle into the turf like a brown tide; raked out and hauled off, the grass underneath comes back breathing. Late in the day the San Francisco Peaks go the color of a struck match, and a lawn cut that morning holds that light in even rows. The route runs from town out through Doney Park, Fort Valley and Kachina Village.
